AlmaWin Announces Retail Partnership for CleanNut with Whole Foods

(May 12, 2009 – Foster City) – Carasi Corporation-AlmaWin USA is proud to announce that its premier products, Cleanut© Laundry detergent, All Purpose Washing Cream,  Dishwashing Liquid  and Automatic Dishwasher Powder will now be available at Whole Foods retail outlets throughout the Southern Pacific Region.

Cleanut© products are unique in that they are the only products sold in the US that carry the European Eco-Guarantie certification for household cleaning goods.  Cleanut is made in Germany and imported to the US by Carasi Corp-AlmaWin Distribution which are the U.S. distributors of EcoGarantie®-certified detergents.

Cleanut© is a vegetable product grown in India that is self-effervescing.  All products are completely void of optical brighteners, color additives, bulking agents, ethoxylated raw materials, chlorine, phosphates petrochemicals or genetically modified enzymes (GMO’s).  With these brand characteristics, added benefits include softer fabrics, effective distribution n both gold and warm water and a completely organic, fully biodegradable (OECD method) product.

“Cleanut has gained a strong core following here in the US after being here for just a short time ,” remarked Chief Executive Officer Dr. Karl Leutschaft.  “We are delighted as this partnership with Whole Foods will enable the product to reach a wider audience and obtain it quickly and easily in a highly popular retail setting.”

The criteria for the European ECO Garantie® label granted to consumer products is the most stringent in the world.  This certification guarantees that the selection of the ingredients and the production process is based on the principles of sustainability and ecological responsibility.  For more information on the ECO Garantie® certification, go to www.almawin-usa.com.

Low prices means cheap ingredients

Many self-described green cleaners, lotions and shampoos contain 1,4-Dioxane, which the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has declared a probable human carcinogen.
Cheap (petroleum-based) ingredients and processing technologies seem to be the reason for these findings.
Please reflect on that when you shop for the lowest price in the "green" product category.
Good, healthy and organic ingredients are not cheap!
