1.) The packaging should be suitable for liquids.

2.) We need to use, for technical reasons, a high density packaging, or HDPE. That could be glass - which is too heavy and would require too much energy for transportation..

3.) Since Cleanut is formulated for people with allergies and sensitive skin (verified  by independent dermatological tests), we have to make sure that this product properties are maintained during the transportation and warehousing of the product. Recycled plastic can be contaminated from previous use. (Contaminants can become embedded between the long molecular chains of the plastic.) Surface-active agents (or surfactants) have the ability to penetrate the first few layers of molecules of the bottle, and by doing so they create an inflow of the potentially allergenic contaminants into the bottle and they might cause allergic reactions in sensitive persons.  We would seriously consider the use of recycled bottles if future technologies provide a less vulnerable plastic.
